Sweet Sensation was an eight piece British soul group who had some success in the mid-1970s. They are best known for their 1974 No. 1 UK hit, "Sad Sweet Dreamer".
Formed in Manchester in 1971, the band came to prominence after appearing on the ITV talent show New Faces. Under the guidance of panellist Tony Hatch, the band signed to Pye Records. The debut single "Snowfire" failed to reach the charts, but the follow-up "Sad Sweet Dreamer" was a UK number one single in October 1974 that also reached No. 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 the following spring. The follow-up "Purely by Coincidence" reached No. 11 in the UK in January 1975. Both songs were written by David Parton.

Sticky Wicked is a Dutch electric jazz fusion group initiated by bassist and composer Peter van Breukelen. He formed an ensemble with Peter Lieberom (sax), Remco van der Sluis (drums), Glenn Black/Guy Nikkels (guitar) and Steven Hupkes/Matthijs Geerts (keys), musicians who individually have played with many of today's great names in jazz and pop. Peter’s own compositions are considered original, fresh, and contemporary. And they are clearly the result of being inspired by decades of the finest in jazz, think Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters, John Scofield and Weather Report.

At this point, DOKKEN simply needs no introduction. The band cemented their status as one of the legendary hard rock/heavy metal archetypes of the ‘80s rock scene with nu-merous successful albums and tours, evergreen songs and music videos and a lore that will live on forever. The tumultuous relationship between band members is well documented and need not be repeated here, but what does need to be made known is that in 2016, the classic original line-up of Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Brown reunited to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan.

Lightning Strikes Again is the tenth studio album by the American heavy metal band Dokken. It was originally scheduled for release on October 24, 2007, in Japan and on October 29 worldwide, but was postponed until 2008. The album was eventually released on May 13 in the US. The album entered the Billboard Top 200 at No. 133, the band's best chart performance since 2004. It received some of the best reviews since the band's classic era in the 1980s. The album title comes from a track from their 1985 album Under Lock and Key. The album is also the last to feature bassist Barry Sparks.

Shadowlife is the sixth studio album by the American heavy metal band Dokken, released in 1997. It marks a change in the band's musical style, moving towards alternative rock. However, critics and fans alike were not pleased with the change, and dismiss the album as one of Dokken's weakest. It is also the last album with original lead guitarist George Lynch.

Dysfunctional is the fifth studio album by heavy metal band Dokken, released in 1995. It was the band's first release after reuniting in 1993. Although the album entered the chart respectably at No. 47 at a time when 1980s hard rock and heavy metal had largely declined, sales quickly dropped off and were not enough to reach gold RIAA certification. In a later interview, Don Dokken revealed that the album had sold 500,000 copies in America and was officially certified gold.

Erase the Slate is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Dokken, released in 1999. It is the only Dokken studio album to feature former Winger guitarist Reb Beach and the last one with long time bassist Jeff Pilson. Recorded after the departure of George Lynch, the band truly Erased the Slate and re-identified themselves. With a new lead guitarist who is equally capable of handling the duties leading the band, Dokken turn out a very good record, considering the turmoil they were in at the time.
