The Wild Wild represents the synth pop ambitions of Santa Cruz-based musician and songwriter Benjamin Dunn. Prior to launching the Wild Wild project in 2014, the Illinois native released music under various solo guises such as Benjamin Dunn & the Animal Orchestra and Benjamin Dunn & Friends. As the Wild Wild, Dunn creates bright, cinematic pop that blends organic instruments like banjo and mandolin with lush synths and electronic elements. After releasing a self-titled EP in 2014, he struck a deal with Descendant Records/Sony Entertainment and made his major-label debut in early 2016 with the Kids EP.
