William Tyler Behold The Spirit

This was the thought that popped into most Shakedown fans’ minds when the band announced that it was–after nearly five years–releasing its second album. Fans have waited…and waited…and waited. The first Shakedown EP From the Sandcastle, released in the fall of 2011, was a rock ‘n’ roll revelation. Blues infused rock bands like Rival Sons and the Stone Foxes were already around, but still–it was so unusual to hear a band playing the way they did…

Black Oath were formed in 2006 by A. Th (vocals, bass, guitar) with the intention to perform obscure and dark heavy metal, inspired by the traditional masters like Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost and Venom. Being Italian, A. Th was also influenced by home grown acts such as Black Hole, Death SS, Paul Chain, Goblin and prog rock, too. Black Oath released various EPs, cassettes and are now ready to unleash their fourth album »Behold The Abysss« via High Roller Records. "It's our best album so far," comments A. Th. "We were very proud of »To Below And Beyond« and couldn't be sure to make a better album. But we did. It contains all our influences and the prog influences show more than ever before. It's like old Ozzy playing with Goblin/PFM."

Between the Earth and the Stars is the seventeenth studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, released on 15 March 2019 by earMUSIC. The album was produced by David Mackay. Following the release of Rocks and Honey in 2013, Tyler remarked to Kiss FM that she expected it to be her last. In 2017, she announced that she had been inspired to record another album after hearing "fantastic new songs" written for her by Kevin Dunne, who played bass guitar in her first band in the early 1970s. In December 2016, she visited the Cash Cabin Studios in Nashville to commence recording with John Carter Cash. In 2018, Tyler announced that she would instead be working with David Mackay, who co-produced her first two albums, The World Starts Tonight (1977) and Natural Force (1978).
