Music icons Jon Anderson and Jean-Luc Ponty have combined their musical talents to form a new supergroup - The Anderson Ponty Band! YES's original singer/songwriter for 35 years, Jon Anderson has had a successful solo career, which includes working with such notable music artists as Vangelis, Kitaro, and Milton Nascimento. International violin superstar Jean-Luc Ponty is a pioneer and undisputed master of his instrument in the arena of jazz and rock. He is widely regarded as an innovator who has applied his unique visionary spin that has expanded the vocabulary of modern music. Together these two music legends have formed a musical synergy that is unparalleled.

While France Brittany-born, rhythm section that represents the profound Yann Pittard and the avant-garde world of Japan to Arab music, Arabian teamed Yoshida Tatsuya Nasuno Mitsuru - Progressive punk improvisation trio PYN (Pittard / Yoshida / Nasuno). Inspired by the pull-and eccentric vocals of Yang of deviant oud, raise one's voice even Nasuno you do not sung everyday. While full-length full improvisation to catch the riff presented by the Yang instantly Yoshida Nasuno, its performance is likely to hear a masterpiece, yet quite a pop to end with exquisite timing and waged an inter-play while extending it. 2013 from three live multi-track recording of 2014 each for 20 minutes, the seven songs that Yang and Yoshida Nasuno was subjected to a base of overdubs to session in the rehearsal studio, which was carried out in the first meeting in 2009 recording.

The National Release Date Of Shona Is September 1,2015! New York City, July 30th,2015 - Omaha born and N.Y.C. based bassist Essiet Okon Essiet has set the radio add date of August 31 St. 2015 and the commercial release date of September 1st, 2015 for his amazing debut CD release of Shona on Frances' Space Time Records! To understand the musical diversity of Shona one would need to know about Essiet's background. Essiet's parents moved here from Nigeria, West Africa as his father worked for the US, as well as the Nigerian government and through his youth the family moved often including Europe, Africa and various cities in the US.

Babajack incorporates elements of music gathered in from Africa, Blues, Folk, Rock and beyond and then blends and distills with artful precision to create a unique sound that excites the audience as they are swept up into the whirlwind of emotions unfolding through the words and music. This is the album that capturing the very essence of the band, Babajack Live the full band plus the atmospheric cello courtesy of Julia Palmer-Price and the skillful live recording and production from Paul Long you have a live sound captured forever. The track list is a mix of songs from previous albums, the must have tracks in a Babajack set and some glimpses of future work and the promise of another studio album.

Although he didn't become widely known until the 1970s, Dr. John had been active in the music industry since the late '50s, when the teenager was still known as Mac Rebennack. A formidable boogie and blues pianist with a lovable growl of a voice, his most enduring achievements fused with New Orleans R&B, rock, and Mardi Gras craziness to come up with his own brand of "voodoo" music. He's also quite accomplished and enjoyable when sticking to purely traditional forms of blues and R&B. On record, he veers between the two approaches, making for an inconsistent and frequently frustrating legacy that often makes the listener feel as if "the Night Tripper" (as he's nicknamed himself) has been underachieving.

"Until All The Ghosts Are Gone" is the long awaited album from Anekdoten, a wait of eight years since the excellent "A Time Of Day" (2007). Fortunately it's been worth the wait as it's as good as and sometimes better than most of their back catalogue. It's clearly recognisably Anekdoten with no great leaps in style. The haunting and melancholic melodies, the dynamic rhythm section and of course the ever present Mellotron. "Until All The Ghosts Are Gone" is a crowning achievement for Anekdoten, one of the absolute standout progressive rock albums of 2015.
