IT’S hard to believe that it’s been 50 years since mankind first landed on the moon. Naturally, TV has rightly pulled out all the stops to celebrate the half-century anniversary, and one of the most intriguing shows of the week begins today. It offers daily updates from the astronauts and Mission Control, and gives us a sense of real-time drama during Apollo 11’s fiveday journey. Afterwards, at 8pm, there’s a longer show examining the final stages of the astronomical quest, which features that tense lead-up to the touchdown on the lunar surface.

Yes 50 Live was recorded on the US leg of their 50th anniversary tour with a majority of the album coming from two dates at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on July 20th and 21st 2018.
