Andy Frasco & The U.N. are an American blues rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2007. Their sound has been described as "blues-rock fueled by reckless abandonment and a disregard for the rules, with witty lyrics to back it all up". This release is Andy Frasco & the U.N.'s full-throttle, sweat-drenched, smash-and-grab live shows are captured in this live album "Songs from the Road", a thrilling follow-up to their 2016 studio album "Happy Bastards".

Before proceeding, a word about the name of this admirable quartet: AGNZ (jazz from A to Z?) comprises the first letter in the last names of its four members—guitarist Jay Azzolina, tenor saxophonist Dino Govoni, drummer Adam Nussbaum and bassist Dave Zinno. It further denotes, presumably, a certain level of parity, a selflessness and camaraderie among equals in which the sum of their efforts is always more decisive than its component parts.

Cellist Yo-Yo Ma is back for a sixth album with the Silk Road Ensemble. "Sing me Home" is the companion album for a new documentary film called The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble. The album is a musical exploration of the notion of "home", from the diverse perspectives of the members of the Silk Road Ensemble. With a mix of traditional tunes and original songs we're taken on a tour of homes around the world from the Balkans to China, India, Iran, Ireland, Japan, Mali, Syria, and the United States.
