The large-scale works of Hieronymus Praetorius (1560–1629) owe much to the great polychoral tradition mastered by Hans Leo Hassler and the great Venetian composer Giovanni Gabrieli. Hieronymus does not disappoint with his vivid expression of texts, intricate counterpoint, and sumptuously sonorous and inventive harmonies: this is Northern Germany’s noble response to the Italians, and to the Roman Counter-Reformation.

Foolish Behaviour is Rod Stewart's tenth studio album released on 21 November 1980 and on the Riva label in the United Kingdom and on Warner Bros. Records in both The United States and Germany. The tracks were recorded at The Record Plant Studios and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles from February to September, 1980. "Passion", "My Girl", "Somebody Special" and "Oh God, I Wish I Was Home Tonight" were released as singles. The video to another song on the album, "She Won't Dance With Me", was the third video to be played on MTV when it launched 1 August 1981. The lyrics contain the use of the word "fuck" which surprisingly remained unedited in the video. The album was only released on CD in 2005 on Rhino's budget Flashback Records label.

The instrumental smash "Ame Câline" vaulted conductor and arranger Raymond LeFevre to the front ranks of the easy listening renaissance that followed the commercial vogue for stereophonic sound. Born in Calais, France on November 20, 1929, LeFevre studied flute as a child and at 16 entered Paris' Conservatoire National de Musique, moonlighting as a jazz pianist in local clubs and cabarets. After a stint behind jazz bandleader Hubert Rostaing, LeFevre joined conductor Bernard Hilda's Club des Champs-Elysées orchestra. He established himself as a composer and arranger during a lengthy tenure as a Barclay Records staffer, concurrently serving six years behind Egyptian born singer Dalida and in 1957 scoring the first of more than a dozen films with director Guillaume Radot, Fric-Frac en Dentelles…
