Universal Music has announced Bridget Jones’s Diary: The Mixtape, a new compilation featuring a selection of songs from across the Bridget Jones film franchise. Among the artists featured on the album are Aretha Franklin, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran, Diana Ross & Marvin Gaye, Geri Halliwell, Barry White, Ellie Goulding, Al Green, Dinah Washington, Chaka Khan, Jamie O’Neal & others. Also included is the original song It Isn’t Perfect But It Might Be co-written (with Bastian Langebæk & Max Wolfgang) and performed by Olivia Dean from the latest installment, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (listen to a preview of the track after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 14 and will also be available as a limited edition 2LP color gatefold and on CD. The first three Bridget Jones movies (Bridget Jones’s Diary, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason & Bridget Jones’s Baby) are now available on VOD, Blu-ray & DVD and Mad About the Boy will be released theatrically in the UK and other international markets starting on February 12 and will make its U.S. debut the following day on Peacock.
