Issue #1 goes through the origin of Spider-Woman in a nutshell and recaps the whole Skrull invasion story that nicely sets up the status quo. Eisner award winner Alex Maleev carries his distinctive granular artwork over from Daredevil (Jessica has a face!), and Brian Michael Bendis puts his stamp with a first person approach. Issues #1-5 comprise the initial story arc.
