The mysterious Hans Anselm is back and gathered his five musicians to go on a journey towards the innerst of sound.

Bill Evans and Stan Getz are about as close as musicians can get in terms of artistry, musical philosophy and technique. These sessions, recorded in 1963 with drummer Elvin Jones and bassists Ron Carter (Side A) and Richard Davis (Side B), perfectly blend their strong individual styles and collaborative sensibilities—with both artists at the peak of their creative powers. Verve’s Acoustic Sounds Series features transfers from analog tapes and remastered 180-gram vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging.

Recorded in 1961 and released by Contemporary Records the same year, “Maggie's Back in Town!!” Is the second album released on the label by jazz trumpeter Howard McGhee. Also featured are the players Phineas Newborn Jr, Leroy Vinnegar and Shelly Manne. This new edition features remastered hi-res audio from the original tapes.

Harold Land’s hard bop album “The Fox” was originally released in 1960, with Contemporary Records reissuing it in ‘69. Featuring Harold Land (tenor sax), Dupree Bolton (trumpet), Elmo Hope (piano), Herbie Lewis (bass), Frank Butler (drums) it was produced by David Axelrod. This new edition features remastered hi-res audio from the original tapes.

First 2,000 pressings are numbered on the back of the jacket and pressed at Quality Record Pressings.
Unnumbered copies may be pressed at either Quality Record Pressings or RTI, which is only identified by the sticker on the outer plastic bag. Issued in a dual pocket gatefold jacket. Includes a double sided insert for "Atlantic Records 75th Anniversary" and an Acoustic Sounds catalog. Each LP comes in a "Quality Record Pressings" rice paper inner sleeve. There are 2 stickers on the front of the outer plastic bag - a "75 Atlantic Audiophile Series" hype sticker and "Quality Record Pressings". Some copies have an additional sticker with "AAPA 005-45A" and a barcode on the back of the plastic bag. The gatefold interior has 2 photos of Otis Redding.
