Columbia Records/XL has announced the North American release date for 21, the sophomore album from British singer-songwriter Adele. The album will be released on February 22, 2011. 21 is the follow up to Adele's award winning debut album 19. Both albums are named after her age at the time the songs were written. Adele's debut album received two Grammy Awards in 2009 (Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance) as well as a BRIT Award in 2008 (Critics Choice).
Adele worked with producers and songwriters including Rick Rubin, Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Dan Wilson, Fraser T. Smith, Francis "Eg" White and Jim Abbiss on 21.
