Phillips' Great Pianists of the 20th Century issue has gotten a lot of publicity in the ten or so years since it has been released. In a musical niche suffering from falling revenues, it was a decent seller. But it left many connoisseurs disappointed, as the quality was limited to the fancy packaging.

Henze recordings don’t come my way very often, but when they do I’m reminded of just how versatile a composer he is. There are also fine DVDs of his best stage works; L’Upupa und der Triumph des Sohnesliebe (Euroarts) is a treat for the eye and ear, and there’s an unmissable Ondine from Covent Garden, with Miyako Yoshida in the name part.

Matsusaka Daisuke is a DJ, Composer, Engineer and the leader of Japan's leading outdoor festival "CAMP Off-Tone" which specialize in Kankyo Ongaku (ambient music). He was reconstructed the famous work of classical music to ambient on this album. This is full of fluffy feeling that feel music while relaxing at forest of "CAMP Off-Tone". For bath time, break time, all kinds of "when you want to be relieved" and needless to say for before sleep. And for BGM of the place that wants people to feel high-quality without affectation.
