Peter Brötzmann curated three days of great music by wonderful musicians from all over the world! Not a retrospective but a representation of the contemporary musical spheres that Brötzmann and his comrades are investigating today. This box documents in 18 performances Brötzmann‘s close ties to the Chicago scene, his inclination to work with Japanese artists, his cultivation of old and new friendships from New York, his faible for African musicians and collaborations with his European friends. The extensive compilation emphasizes the vitality and variety of Brötzmann's current work and documents a historical moment of the Unlimited-Festival.

Sky Music is a humble and heartfelt celebration of an inspirational artist and truly unique guitarist that hasn´t fully received the due credit and recognition he deserves for over 50 years of excellent music making. Initiated by the experimental US guitarist and lifelong Rypdal fan Henry Kaiser, we put together a Rune Grammofon allstar band including keyboardist and long time Rypdal side-kick Ståle Storløkken (Elephant9, Supersilent), bassist Ingebrigt Håker Flaten (Scorch Trio, The Thing), drummer Gard Nilssen (Bushman´s Revenge), guitarists Even Helte Hermansen (Bushman´s Revenge) and Hedvig Mollestad Thomassen, Finnish guitarist Raoul Björkenheim (Scorch Trio) and Swedish guitarist Reine Fiske (Dungen).

The 2020, in many ways a Neapolitan year, was instead very favorable from the point of view of record for the Neapolitan composer Leonardo Vinci (1690-1730). After the album entirely dedicated to him – Veni, Vidi ,Vinci – by Franco Fagioli for Deutsche Grammophon, was published by Parnassus on the main digital platforms, the opera gismondo King of Poland. Net of some air already recorded by Filippo Maneccia in 2014 and Franco Fagioli (in the album above mentioned), it is a world premiere in terms of Integral recording, which follows after a couple of years, a series of performances in the form of a concert by the same cast. At the heart of this project is one of the diamond tips of the countertenor landscape, Max Emanuel Cencic.
