This volume (Volume 1) is intended for programmers writing application programs, compilers, or assemblers. It assumes prior experience in microprocessor programming, although it does not assume prior experience with the legacy x86 or AMD64 microprocessor architecture.

This volume (Volume 2) is intended for programmers writing operating systems, loaders, linkers, device drivers, or system utilities. It assumes an understanding of AMD64 architecture application-level programming as described in Volume 1.

iDeneb is a Mac OSX Leopard release modified by Layne and iHackintosh Team, to run on non-Apple computers. This universal release can run on both Intel and AMD based machines. The current version, iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5, has EFI support, though it cannot boot on older machines due the lack of Non-EFI boot. However, this drawback has been worked out with the Chameleon bootloader which can be installed on SSE2 computers.

The Crackers EP Vol. 1 is an extended play by Mark Woodford, a producer known as The Audible Doctor, a member of the Brown Bag Allstars. Not much is known other than this was released on his own AMD Music label.

This volume (Volume 3) is intended for all programmers writing application or system software for a processor that implements the AMD64 architecture. Descriptions of general-purpose instructions assume an understanding of the application-level programming topics described in Volume 1. Descriptions of
system instructions assume an understanding of the systemlevel programming topics described in Volume 2.
