Amsterdam Blue

Another Carmen Gomes release for the small Amsterdam based label Sound Liaison. "Little Blue" is a collection of songs that I feel strongly about. Songs of my youth that made an lingering impression and original compositions, some written a long time ago; some only recently. They all deal with topics of everyday life that keeps my mind occupied: the choices we make, how we define ourselves and how we deal with life in general – Carmen Gomes.

The Netherlands was the first non-English speaking country to storm the Billboard Hot 100 with a string of hit singles from bands such as Shocking Blue, Focus, George Baker Selection, Golden Earring, and Tee-Set. This set presents the bands that followed closely behind, with singles and albums that internationally have become highly sought-after records. Some bands with a rich discography, others with no more than one or two singles under their belt. Original singles of many of these tracks are currently offered and/or sold for hundreds of Euros on Discogs, and many original pressings were so limited at the time of release that they are impossible to find.

This is the 2000 soundtrack to the film The Million Dollar Hotel. This album features music from U2, Daniel Lanois and an actress who appears in the film, Milla Jovovich.

In the late 1980s The Residents embarked on what many fans still consider their greatest live project. “Cube-E – The History Of American Music In 3 E-Z Pieces” spanned almost four years and proposed to do nothing less than its title suggested, telling the story of American popular music, from its birth around the campfires of a non-existent Old West to its death at the hands of Elvis and the British Invasion, all in three easy pieces.

Six CD set from legendary British country rock/folk rock band Plainsong. Features a 50th anniversary reissue of their 1972 debut album In Search Of Amelia Earhart, digitally remastered from the original reel-to-reel master tapes. This set not only contains that album but also the Now We Are 3 second album, alongside a host of previously unissued tracks from Iain and Andy's own archives and from the collections of fans worldwide. Plainsong's 1972 BBC In Concert special for Bob Harris gets it's first official airing on CD, as does the rare Sounds On Sunday radio broadcast, their very last recording together before the break-up.
