Danger Danger is the debut album of the band Danger Danger, released in June 1989. In 1989, Saraya guitarist Tony "Bruno" Rey joined briefly and played on part of their debut album, before returning to his previous band. Andy Timmons replaced him and played on the rest of their debut album, which was released in the same year. The album spawned two hits with “Naughty Naughty” and “Bang Bang,” with the former gaining a spot in MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball.
"Four the Hard Way" is the fourth Danger Danger album, and the second featuring singer Paul Laine. Former members Andy Timmons and Kasey Smith contributed to the album. D2 are back on track! This may not be an instant classic like the first two albums, but… "Jaded" (a great example of the new sound), "Captain Bring Me Down" (Bon Jovi-style), "Going All The Way", "Goin' Goin' Gone" (both classic D2) and the Def Leppard-style "Afraid Of Love". Eleven tracks of pure hard rock heaven …great lyrics, great hooks, 100% perfect.
Born in Porto Alegre, South of Brazil, I was exposed to a strong mixed culture of music from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. I started to play guitar in my childhood, at the age 13 and under influence by Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughan. I took private lessons and few years later I started to teach in some music schools in Porto Alegre and by doing that I got involved in projects like guitar clinics, master classes and I also become a session player. Besides that, I was also studying music and I graduated in Music Performance and later on in Guitar & Technology, Music Pedagogy. I am also an orchestrator certified by Berklee USA.
From start to finish, "Collateral Damage" is an absolute triumph and Ted's vocals never sounded better. It's so refreshing to actually see an artist mature over the years and this is very true of Ted Poley. From his glory days back in DANGER DANGER till the more intricate, well written and brilliantly arranged music he is putting out today, Poley has definitely come a long way. Joined by long-time friend and fellow DANGER DANGER band mate Andy Timmons on guitar for this one. "Collateral Damage" is Ted Poley and AOR at its best!
