This album is the last of my many recordings for Hyperion made using my own Fazioli F2781009 (every recording since October 2003, with just two exceptions for which I used other Faziolis). When the present recording sessions were over, the movers accidentally dropped it, and the piano came to an untimely end. The loss was devastating, as I loved it so much and it did everything I wanted it to do. May this recording be a testament to its huge range of colour that always served the music so well.

UK two CD collection. This sumptuous lovingly compiled includes a number of rare tracks such as 'All The Reasons Why', 'Love & Marriage', 'Love Light' and 'Rhythm Of Your Mind', all of which were first released between 2002-2007. In addition, the anthology features five stellar guest appearances with artists such as Narada Michael Walden (who produced three of Angie's Arista albums), Johnny Mathis, Carl Anderson, Stanley Clarke, Marian Meadows and Kirk Whalum; and tracks from Angela's one-off 1993 LP for Jive Records including the title track, 'I Wanna Love Somebody'.

Love in Slow Motion I had not heard this in awhile and had to listen several times before I could appreciate it. Angela sounds so different in this CD. In some places she sounded just like Phyllis Hyman! I said to myself, "Is this Phyllis Hyman or Angela Bofill?" I have fallen in love with the CD because it is Angela going in a different direction at a different point in her life. Everyone must change to stay relevant and that is what Angela Bofill was doing. I like it as I have all of the others one I have re-listened to. I moved and they are in storage so I am at a disadvantage.
