Since their formation in Croydon, South London in 1994 Archive have operated as masters of their own destiny, eschewing prevailing trends for a more unique musical blend of their own. Founding members Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths joined forces with South London rapper Rosko John, and Iranian-born singer Roya Arab for 1996’s trip-hop tinged and critically acclaimed debut album ‘Londinium’. Various line-up changes over the years saw Keeler and Griffiths deciding to retire the idea of the "lead singer” in favour of a more flexible collective approach.

The Front Row Club was a subscription-only service by which CD's of raw concert recordings, originally made by the band for their own reference, were released. Members paid for a subscription (initially lasting six releases; later reduced to four releases), and as the shows were released, they were automatically mailed to members. There were also occasional optional releases, which were only mailed on request - these were generally reissues of previously released material. The only FRC issue which was available to non-subscribers was the Curtain Call box set - this was the only FRC release of material before Steve Hogarth joined the band, and was sold via both Marillion and Fish's online stores, as well as being an optional FRC release.

From the Philip Glass Archive is a series of releases from Orange Mountain Music which seeks to document archival and unreleased material or reissue classic albums by Philip Glass. The current volume, the sixth, features a collaboration between Glass and African musician Foday Musa Suso from a score they both worked on in the 1990s. The work was incidental music to the play The Screens by Jean Genet and was directed by JoAnne Akalaitis. Glass described the collaboration as the closest thing he had come to at that point of a true collaboration with both artists contributing original pieces and both working on many in the score together. The Screens was originally released on Point Music in the late 1990s. Orange Mountain Music is also pleased to present this remastered version with the inclusion of two bonus tracks of Philip Glass and Foday Musa Suso LIVE, recorded in New York in 2009.

Featuring superb FM broadcast recordings from all eras of the band s existence, this enticing set kicks off, on Disc 1, with their classic 1975 UK show. Performed in Cardiff, Wales and broadcast across the USA by the King Biscuit Flower Hour, this concert remains among the very best recordings in existence of Skynyrd during their glory days. Next up, on Disc 2, is the first gig the surviving members of the band played following the tragic 1977 air crash: the famous Super Jam show. Played in 1978 in Doraville, Georgia, this recording features many other musicians from the southern rock community alongside the revamped LS. And concluding this fine set is a show from 1994, featuring Johnny Van Zandt (the late Ronnie s brother) on vocals alongside the other surviving members from back in the day.

Lindisfarne barely command more than a footnote in most rock reference books. During the early '70s, however, Lindisfarne were one of the hottest folk-based rock bands in England, with chart placements on two of their albums that rivaled Jethro Tull, and had them proclaimed one of the most important groups of the decade…

Archive's plot: 2038: George Almore is working on a true human-equivalent AI. His latest prototype is almost ready. This sensitive phase is also the riskiest. Especially as he has a goal that must be hidden at all costs: being reunited with his dead wife.
