Arctic Circles 1: "Artists such as Biosphere, Ultraviolet, Illumination, Mental Overdrive, Krisp, Ismistik, Aedena Cycle and Motion Control have through their output on various european labels drawn attention to the norwegian underground techno/electronica scene, often reffered to as the "Arctic Scene". Small idealistic lables such as +47, Love OD and Beatservice Records have been a part of establishing and maintaining this scene, who excists well hidden behind the more commercial rave culture. From the Taiga to the Tundra and on to the Arctic Ocean, Wildest Arctic explores the extraordinary regions of the arctic giving us a unique insight into what life is like for animals trying to survive in these incredible habitats. The cameras capture life over the course of 12 months in the frozen forests of the Taiga, which contain one third of the world's trees. They also explore the arctic tundra, one of the coldest, driest places on the planet and home to hundreds of thousands of caribou.
