Arpedon Krater Nigel Spivey

A native of Guadeloupe, Edmony Krater grow up with the sound of Gwo Ka, this traditional Caribbean percussion. Young trumpeter, Edmony founded with friends the group GWAKASONNE in the late 70s, which was mixing gwo ka tradition and modern music (jazz, soul, spiritual). Then Edmony settled in France where he will plays with many Caribbean musicians but also Bernard Lubat and Nougaro. In 1988, he recorded the album "Ti Jan Pou velo" which is a tribute to the musicians of “roots” music whose percussionist Tijan disappeared some years earlier. This album is an album aside from Caribbean music by its coherence, originality and modernity. This is the first time it is reissued and the title "Gwadeloup" is present on our compilation "Kouté Jazz".

Krater is real-time squad based dungeon crawling adventure. The game combines fast paced combat, tactical squad management, crafting, and questing all seen from a classic RTS perspective. While the game’s campaign can be played offline, there are also hours of specifically designed co-op missions to tackle with friends online.

Krater is a squad based roleplaying game set in a colorful post-apocalyptic world. It combines the combat mechanics of action-rpgs with the top-down view of the classic old-school RPG and RTS games.

Following the reissue of his cult 1988 album 'Tijan Pou Velo', Heavenly Sweetness decided to continue their collaboration with Guadeloupean musician Edmony Krater and record a new album together, his first one in 30 years. As an avant-gardist percussionist, singer and trumpet player, Edmony Krater has always worked to develop and promote the gwoka music of Guadeloupe and to feed it with different influences, from jazz to reggae. This approach is again evident on 'An Ka Sonjé' as he merges these influences and sounds to mesmerising effect.
