The Baltimore Museum of Art is home to an internationally renowned collection of 19th-century, modern, and contemporary art, including the largest holding of works by Henri Matisse in the world. The Museum’s 90,000-object collection is recognized for its impressive examples of Abstract Expressionism, Minimalist sculpture, and Conceptual Art; 15th- through 19th-century prints, drawings, and photographs; European masterpieces; distinguished American painting, sculpture, and decorative arts; one of the most important African collections in the country; and two beautifully landscaped sculpture gardens. General admission to the BMA is free for everyone, every day.
