Oui-da, vous entendrez bien ici le cor des alpes et le yodel traditionnel de toute cette belle région de la planète ! Mais dans un cadre musical et technique qui n’a rien d’improvisé : la mezzo Marie-Claude Chappuis s’est adjointe un bel éventail de musiciens allant des cordes jusqu’à l’accordéon, de la mandoline au luth, sans oublier une demi-douzaine de solistes vocaux pour certains morceaux, et un chœur tout ce qu’il y a de suisse puisqu’il s’agit du Choeur des Armaillis de la Gruyère. On alterne du français au suisse alémanique et à l’italien, du chant quasi-baroque pour certaines pièces du folklore ancien, au yodel le plus effréné, pour un beau moment de douceur et de nostalgie, qui prouve que la Suisse n’est pas qu’un pays de banques, de réfugiés fiscaux et de coucous, mais aussi de musique et de tradition.
