Official Release #96. Live recordings from 3 shows in Finlandia Hall, Helsinki Finland - August 23 & 24 1973. One year after the release of Frank Zappa‘s “Road Tapes, Venue #1” the Zappa Family Trust have announced a second volume in this series of “primitive audio documentary attempts to capture the essence of what was highly and improbably and even impossibly out there on the road in some of the worst audio terrain imaginable”.

Pianist Gregory Privat introduces his second album, Tales of Cyparis based on the story of a prisoner that survived the volcanic eruption of Mt. Pelee in 1902. After being pardoned from his crimes, Cyparis joined Barnum & Bailey’s circus as “the Most Marvelous Man in the World,” recounting the horror of the eruption.

Monomyth stands for "thrilling instrumental soundscapes", a rollercoaster ride in which the listener can lose themselves. It is the sound of five people searching for their musical boundaries and then moving beyond them. Monomyth transports you to another world, a place that feels both new and familiar. In the ranks, we find five people from different creative and musical backgrounds. Monomyth’s music is a complete experience, a collective statement by five like-minded identities. The Monomyth sound contains all the ingredients of rock & roll, but in a totally unique way. The band wants to draw their audience into a trance, caused by shifting patterns, repetitions and drones. Electronic Music for Jean Dubuffet's Coucou Bazar, composed and realized by Ilhan Mimaroglu for the first version of Jean Dubuffet's Coucou Bazar, which opened at the Solomon R.Guggenheim Museum in New York on May 16, 1973. Bal des leurres, poem recorded by Jean Dubuffet on January 10, 1973. Text written by the artist to serve as an argument for Coucou Bazar. Coucou Bazar, soundtrack of the show presented in Turin form June 16 to July 15, 1978, composed from music recordings by Jean Dubuffet dating from 1961 and 1973-1974.

One of the few sides ever recorded as a leader by Chicago soul jazz pianist John Young – a tasty trio set with just the right touch of pepper! The tracks are short and lively, very much in the mode of other Chicago trio players – like John Wright or Ramsey Lewis – and most of the tunes have a nicely rolling groove, thanks to great backing from from Sam Kidd on bass and Phil Thomas on drums – both of whom echo strongly the great Chicago groove going on at the time. The album also features a strong mixture of originals and upbeat standards – with titles that include "Joey", "In Other Words", "Blues Oreenee", "The Bridge", "Serenata", and "Search Me".

Violette Sounds started in 2013 as a project of drummer Karl Henneberg. The CD "Feelin' Inside“ is the successful outcome of 2 years of work on this project. Thanks to the input and musicality of Uwe Bottcher (bass/ violin), Matthias Vogel (electric guitar), Gero Korner (Hammond organ/ electric piano) and Hilde Akam (voice/ texts) as well as to the more modest but substantial contributions of several other musicians, Karl Henneberg’s song concepts and mostly own compositions were not simply transposed into sounds and rhythms according to his ideas but were moreover musically and compositionally enhanced and expanded. The variety of songs and styles presented on this CD expresses his musical preferences, influences undergone in his younger years, and offer a good range of moods and atmospheres - to the effect of "feelin' inside“.
