Actually, the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester should have played in the Philharmonie Berlin. Then came the new event stop. Now an ensemble of the orchestra performs: The Polyphonia Ensemble Berlin plays Dezette by Théodore Dubois and André Caplet.

Frauke Ross, Martin Kögel, Bernhard Nusser and Jörg Petersen founded the POLYPHONIA ENSEMBLE BERLIN over twenty years ago. Fortunately, numerous other musicians joined in the following period, so that the ensemble can now perform works for almost all ensembles, from wind trio to mixed decettos. Over the years it has been able to expand its horizons with countless original compositions and adaptations, preferably to perform them in unusual places, such as on a raft, in a cave, in a jazz club, in your living room, on a cruise ship, or wherever - on the high seas the idea for the album “To sing on the water” was born.
