Augustin Pereyra Lucena

Fabián Araya was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1986. He started playing music professionally at the age of fourteen. One year later he made his first presentation at the Colón Theatre. Studying saxophone with Pablo Ledesma and flute with Alejandro Santos, he opened his way through the jazz world. In 2006, made a presentation at the Jazz Festival Miramar. Since then, made presentations with important musicians like Agustín Pereyra Lucena, Hilliard Green (USA), George Haslam (England) and Yann Tiersen (France) between others, all around Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil with several presentations on radio and tv.

I know I do and this album contains several of my favorites, some done in a more American Standard style, while others offer more unique renditions. On Suzy Snowflake my voice may seem a bit higher, as it was originally recorded when I was 9 years old. Sleigh Ride is actually a duet of me at 9 and me now. Merry christmas Everyone!

His remarkable consistency throughout the repertoire, from Bach and Beethoven to Ligeti and Adès, is seldom encountered in a single artist.

'Mr Hadelich increasingly seems to be one of the outstanding violinists of his generation,' wrote the New York Times after Augustin Hadelich played Dvorák’s Violin Concerto under Czech-born Jakub Hrusa’s baton in 2017. Hadelich and Hrusa have now recorded the concerto with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks .
