In reaction to the financial market crisis that started in 2007, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision substantially revised its existing framework for regulation, supervision and risk management in the banking sector.

The revised banking package of CRD VI and CRR III contains a large number of new requirements, the implementation of which will pose major challenges for the banking industry. In addition to the adoption of the final Basel IV regulations, other topics such as crypto assets or the consideration of ESG in banking supervisory law will be addressed.

Music by the marvelous, criminally underrated composer and “Aural Alchemist” Charles Koechlin is always a discovery and invariably. “Koechlin can daub with notes as Seurat daubed with bright pigments on canvas [he] could, whenever he wished, bathe his music in the impressionist glories of Debussy and Ravel or give it the delicacy of Fauré and then toughen it up with some Roussel-like grinding rhythms” (Robert Reilly).
