This series was made as a result of the BBC's hugely successful and popular series "The Genius of Mozart". Both series follow the same format, a cross between a drama and a documentary (docudrama), each series is made of three episodes of an hour each, and each is mixed with insightful pieces of narration by the popular conductor/composer/presenter Charles Hazlewood.

The story begins with the composer's father Leopold with whom Mozart conducted a passionate and tortured correspondence. It is Leopold who knows Mozart's secrets. And there is another voice: that of the music itself. Music is the key to unlocking the emotions of Mozart, starting in this film with the great piano works.

Tamsin Greig, Lesley Sharp and Ellie Kendrick star in the BBC adaptation of The Diary Of Anne Frank. The rights to The Diary Of Anne Frank rarely become available. The BBC and Darlow Smithson Productions have worked closely with the Anne Frank-Fonds, the charitable foundation promoting social and cultural projects in the spirit of Anne Frank, to ensure complete authenticity for the drama.

Series One follows lone male Simba, as he strives to defend the Marsh Pride of lions from two young outsider males who threaten them. Other storylines include Kike the cheetah’s struggle to feed her babies and protect them from danger, and Bella the leopard’s ambush on a herd of wildebeest crossing the river.
