Blonde on Blonde is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released in mid 1966, on Columbia Records. Blonde on Blonde completed the trilogy of rock albums that Dylan recorded in 1965 and 1966, starting with Bringing It All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited. Critics often rank Blonde on Blonde as one of the greatest albums of all time. Combining the expertise of Nashville session musicians with a modernist literary sensibility, the album's songs have been described as operating on a grand scale musically, while featuring lyrics one critic called "a unique mixture of the visionary and the colloquial". It was one of the first double albums in rock music.

This incredible 8 CD box set from Scorpio is the ultimate documentation of the 1966 world tour. The sound quality is as good as the best known recordings. The package itself warrants owning this visual stunner. Always at the top of the game, Scorpio adds this crown jewel into their already impressive catalog. The covers are all rare period photos and images that have to be seen to be believed. Each of the 8 discs slips into a cardboard sleeve not unlike a vinyl LP jacket. The jacket then slips into a gatefold cardboard cover. The covers bear a logo altered from the old CBS 'eye' logo. Each of the five covers are presented as a set, with individual names, photos and graphics.

Sony began releasing collections of Bob Dylan rarities with the sole purpose of extending their claims to the copyright to the recordings in 2012, when they released The 50th Anniversary Collection: The Copyright Extension Collection, Vol. 1. The very title of the album made its intent plain, but Sony nevertheless decided to release it under the radar, slipping out a few copies to various territories in Europe instead of prepping the music as part of their acclaimed Bootleg Series…

For decades, Bob Dylan's performance in Manchester was incorrectly labeled, The Royal Albert Hall Concert. Now, for the first time, the REAL Royal Albert Hall concert, originally recorded for a live album by CBS Records, is finally being released as a standalone 2-CD set, titled The Real Royal Albert Hall 1966 Concert.
