Bruce and the E Street Band kick off the 2025 tour of Europe with a 27-song set. It’s Springsteen’s first full concert of the year, and falls on the same date he first performed in Manchester on The River tour in 1981. HIGHLIGHTS: Tour premieres of “Rainmaker” (from 2020’s Letter To You) in its debut performance; “Murder Incorporated,” returning for the first time since 2017; and “Chimes of Freedom” (written and recorded by Bob Dylan), which closes the encore, its first appearance in an E Street Band show since 1988. “My Love Will Not Let You Down,” “My City of Ruins,” and “Born in the U.S.A.” return to the set; “House of a Thousand Guitars,” last performed in 2023, is performed solo acoustic.

American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen's second studio album, "The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle" was recorded with the E Street Band and features their popular set-closing single "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)". After it's initial release the record didn't gather much attention, however after Springsteen released his third album, Born To Run, and his popularity grew, The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle was more appreciated by his fans.

Site of two Olympic Games, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum provides a fitting backdrop to the last lap of the Born In The U.S.A. tour. On opening night of the final four shows, in front 83,000 fans, Bruce & The E Street Band hit their stadium-tour zenith with a powerhouse performance that mixes road-tested versions of “Seeds,” “Atlantic City,” “Working on the Highway,” “I’m Goin’ Down,” “Glory Days,” “Trapped,” “Dancing in the Dark” and “Downbound Train” with risk-taking world premieres of Edwin Starr’s “War” and the beloved b-side, “Janey, Don’t You Lose Heart.”

The last of three shows in East Rutherford breaks the record set on August 25 and is the longest U.S. show ever, clocking in at four hours and one minute. Once again the show opens with Sam Bardfeld's string-section accompanied "New York City Serenade" and ends with "Jersey Girl".
