The Value Of Decay is the 2011 album by musician/producer Mark Deutrom, who is credited on this as Mark D. One time member of Clown Alley, he was the co-founder of San Francisco label Alchemy Records with Victor Hayden before signing Melvins for their first album that he produced, before also producing their second effort. He then became a member of Melvins between 1993 to 1998. The Value Of Decay is his third solo album where he plays most of the instruments.

This volume brings together tributes to Judith Ennew’s work and approach based on issues related to children she once referred to as ‘out of place’, that is to say children whose living conditions and ways of life appear far removed from Western images of childhood.
