Maximum Carnage is a fourteen-part comic book crossover arc published in Marvel Comics's Spider-Man family of titles in 1993. It featured Spider-Man and Venom teaming up to face Venom's murderous offspring Carnage.

De retour d'expédition, l'explorateur Richard Drake hante clubs et salles de bals de la haute société victorienne. Il s'éprend de Miss Catherine Lacombe, charmante Lady au caractère bien trempé. Le séduisant Lord Faureston a lui aussi jeté son dévolu sur la jeune femme. Mais une aura de mystère entoure ce ténébreux dandy. Catherine serait-elle en danger ? C'est en tout cas ce que prétend Mister Jones, un obscur employé de banque qui, la nuit venue, devient chasseur de vampires !
