Carroll Barber (Keith Carradine) is a noncommittal, independently wealthy musician who spends his time drifting about Los Angeles from bed to bed. Carroll jumps in and out of relationships with Ann Goode (Sally Kellerman), a real estate agent, and Nona Bruce (Lauren Hutton), the mistress of his father, to name a few. Also in Carroll's orbit is restless housewife Karen Hood (Geraldine Chaplin) and her husband, Ken (Harvey Keitel), an executive who works with the senior Barber.

Charlie Chaplin’s masterful drama about the twilight of a former vaudeville star is among the writer-director’s most touching films. Chaplin plays Calvero, a once beloved musical-comedy performer, now a washed-up alcoholic who lives in a small London flat. A glimmer of hope arrives when he meets a beautiful but melancholy ballerina (Claire Bloom) who lives downstairs. An elegant mix of the comic and the tragic, this poignant movie also features Buster Keaton in an extended cameo, marking the only time the two silent comedy icons appeared in a film together. Made at a time when Chaplin was under attack by the American press and far right, Limelight was scarcely distributed in the United States upon its initial release, but it is now considered one of his essential and most personal works.

Very few original negatives of the silent films of Laurel and Hardy survive, and the available elements scattered throughout the world are always mediocre or unwatchable. It took three years to gather all the surviving prints of these shorts, compare them shot by shot and give them the best digital restoration possible. Today, these invisible films look as young as they did 95 years ago. A world premiere for all the Laurel and Hardy fans.

Childhood friends, dominant Helene and submissive Lucie, are now in their thirties and married. Nostalgic about their youth, they take a bonding car trip to French countryside, while discussing their real and made up sexual experiences.

On a luxury liner traveling from Hong Kong to the United States, wealthy American diplomat Ogden Mears (Marlon Brando) discovers Natascha (Sophia Loren), a stateless Russian countess and stowaway, hiding in his cabin to escape a life of prostitution. Though initially reluctant to help due to the risk of a political scandal, Ogden eventually agrees to hide her, leading to a series of farcical complications as they navigate prying eyes, a "marriage of convenience" to his valet, and the unexpected arrival of his wife (Tippi Hedren) in Hawaii. Amidst the slapstick and close calls, the two polar opposites eventually fall in love.

Jerry Mulligan, a struggling American painter in Paris, is "discovered" by an influential heiress with an interest in more than Jerry's art. Jerry in turn falls for Lise, a young French girl already engaged to a cabaret singer. Jerry jokes, sings and dances with his best friend, an acerbic would-be concert pianist, while romantic complications abound.

Set in the fictional nation of Tomainia, the film follows a Jewish barber who returns from a veteran's hospital with amnesia, unaware of the rise of the ruthless anti-Semitic dictator Adenoid Hynkel. As the barber struggles to survive life in the ghetto alongside a young woman named Hannah, his identical resemblance to the tyrant leads to a series of comedic and tense misunderstandings. The story reaches its climax when the barber is mistaken for Hynkel during a military rally, seizing the opportunity to deliver a powerful, impassioned plea for humanity, peace, and the end of dictatorships.
