Durch eine kuriose Verwechslung findet sich der Kleinkriminelle Denis (Emilio Sakraya) plötzlich in der Position des Krankenpflegers für den Schlaganfallpatienten Raimund (Heiner Lauterbauch) wieder. Dabei wollte er nur in dessen Villa einbrechen, um endlich seine Schulden bei einigen unliebsamen Ganoven zu begleichen. Stattdessen sitzt er nun im herrschaftlichen Anwesen des reichen Unternehmers fest, der seit dem Anfall nicht mehr sprechen kann und an den Rollstuhl gefesselt ist. Als dann auch noch Raimunds Enkeltochter Charlotte (Sonja Gerhardt) auftaucht, wird es Denis endgültig zu viel. Doch an Flucht ist nicht zu denken, ein gewaltiger Schneesturm tobt in der Region. Und so muss er wohl oder übel die Rolle des Krankenpflegers spielen – sehr zu Raimunds Unmut, der sich mit allen Mitteln gegen den Eindringling wehrt. Denn im Gegensatz zu Charlotte hat Raimund den Ganoven Denis sofort durchschaut Ein Katz-und-Maus-Spiel beginnt, in dem der kernige Senior und der gewiefte Junior ihre Mittel grandios zum Einsatz bringen…
