This perennially popular Norton Critical Edition again reprints, with expanded explanatory footnotes, the 1848 third edition text, the last corrected by Charlotte Brontë. The newly expanded and reorganized "Contexts" section provides an extensive sampling of materials concerning Brontë's experiences as a student, governess, and teacher, experiences that influenced her portrayal of Jane Eyre at Lowood school and as the governess of Thornfield Hall. New to the Third Edition are illustrations from and commentary upon Brontë's use of Thomas Bewick's History of British Birds. A Chronology and Selected Bibliography are included.

Much admired Toronto singer songwriter Charlotte Cornfields new album, The Shape of Your Name. Recorded by Grammy winner Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Weezer, Julian Casablancas) at a Banff Centre artist residency. The album is a collaborative effort with core members of Broken Social Scene (Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Charles Spearin) and features performances by Leif Vollebekk.

For her second Discus Music release, Charlotte has convened her regular working quartet to explore open ended versions of her compositions which form the basis of their live set.
