German compilation from Greek progressive rock band of the late '60s and early '70s which included Vangelis Papathanassiou (keyboards), Demis Roussos (bass guitar and vocals), Loukas Sideras (drums and vocals), and Anargyros "Silver" Koulouris (guitar). 10 tracks including 'Spring, Summer, Winter & Fall' & 'Such A Funny Night.' After Vangelis' Greek 60s band "The Forminx" broke up, Vangelis, together with singer Demis Roussos and drummer Lucas Sideras left for London to try their success outside of Greece. They got stuck in Paris and formed the band "Aphrodite's Child". They recorded a song, "Rain and Tears", inspired by Pachelbell's famous canon and released it as a single. It became a huge success ranking at the top of the charts in several European countries.

Very few musical compositions truly deserve that overworked adjective “unique,” but it accurately applies to William Walton’s Façade.”] Or perhaps we should call this mostly-early work Façades, as it is recorded here in three parts: “Façade – An Entertainment” (21 pieces dating from 1922); “Façade 2 – A Further Entertainment” (8 more pieces; 1978-79); and the four pieces of “Façade: Additional Numbers” (1922, 1977).

Although Desmond Child is a superstar, it isn't because of his singing. Child is much better known for his producing and songwriting – not singing – and work with major artists like Cher, Bon Jovi, Joan Jett, Chicago, Roxette, and Aerosmith is what made him a huge name in the music world. Nonetheless, Child is a talented, expressive singer. He proved that in the late '70s and early '80s, when he led a great but underexposed group called Desmond Child & Rouge. And he demonstrated that again when, in 1991, he provided his first solo album, Discipline. This Elektra release, which Child produced with Sir Arthur Payson, falls short of exceptional and isn't as risk-taking as Desmond Child & Rouge's work, but it's still decent and enjoyable.
