Cinematique Instruments

MARBLE 2 is a modern creative inspiration source that is super easy to use. With all its patterns and sequences - about 400- it provides building blocks for your musical ideas and lets you compose quickly. But of course, every one of its many parameters can be changed manually and in real-time.

As a further member of our Vertigo series, Glass & Iron inherits similar sonic characteristics, namely the warm and gritty tones of the Vertigo instruments.

BRIGHT DRONE AND DELICATE STRUMMING. The Mountain Dulcimer is a high-quality three-string wooden stringed instrument which produces a soft and melodic drone, also known as a bourdon tone. It is well known for its use in compositions by Thomas Newman, such as American Beauty.

A SMALL WOODEN HARP. The Celtic Nylon Harp is a small warm, and adorable sounding harp. This wooden instrument has a range of three octaves between C2 and C5 and 22 nylon strings which are finger-plucked. We added a script which allows the user to play 'dynamic detection' glissandos using the mod-wheel. This makes playing glissandos much more intuitive and flexible than if you had to select scales or chords. Once again, the Celtic Nylon Harp fulfils the tradition of the Cinematique Instruments Strings by sounding charming, organic and inspiring.

THE SOUND OF THE ALPS. The Zither has a rough and dirty sound, often described as “mellow”. We handled the Concert Zither harshly: We plucked, stroked and strummed all the strings to get every possible sound, noise and articulation the Zither can produce. Finally, we assembled six different patches. The Concert Zither is a perfect supplement to all the other Cinematique Strings instruments: rare and unique.

THE POP HARP FOR EVERYONE. We built the Autoharp from scratch. So, we have here a newly designed Autoharp with many new articulations and vast possibilities. It's a perfect instrument to give your music a subtle highlighted shape.

USSIAN MELANCHOLIA. In the contest of our previous released string instruments, we have again focused on creating an instrument with a soft and warm sound that will have an organic and realistic feel. It features a "Tremolo-Option ", and this tremolo is controlled over the Mod Wheel. It can create a tragic, dramatic, and highly natural tremolo sound, perfectly fitting in various music styles and genres.

FINE AND GENTLE - GUITAR AND BASS FLAGEOLETS. Guitar Harmonics consists of an assortment of electric and acoustic guitars and basses. We spent a lot of time finding the perfect setup to achieve a warm and realistic sound, and it provides valuable tools that enable each instrument to produce a wide range of sounds.

DEEP STRINGS WITH A FLAVOUR OF THE ORIENT. The Oud is an old Persian string instrument with many nylon strings. We have succeeded in giving it a modern expression in addition to the organic sound and feel. The Oud has a brilliant oriental sound which we have enriched with many small features. We are happy to put out a versatile instrument with lots of possibilities.

WARM MEDIEVAL NYLON STRINGS. This is a renaissance Lute with 8-course strings - tuned in unison. The lute is equipped with nylon strings - it is astonishing how different a lute is used in music. In the Medieval period, it was the most important instrument for secular music. But it is also used in score music, such as in the Jim Jarmusch's movie "Only Lovers Left Alive”.
