Cinesamples Piano

We were provided a unique opportunity to preserve an important piece of musical history in its final days. Word had come to us that the historic Clinton Recording Studios in midtown Manhattan was forever closing its doors, destined to be transformed into a modern condominium complex.

Another great addition to Cinesamples' Artist Series, Randy's Prepared Piano is a collection of 3 pianos recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage and Hollywood Scoring Studios Stage in Los Angeles, California. It features various extended techniques used by Los Angeles studio musician, Randy Kerber.

CinePiano is the modern follow-up to our popular Piano in Blue library. A Concert Grand Piano sampled by hand at the MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, we applied the same recording and sampling techniques and many of the same microphones from Piano in Blue. With four distinct sonic characters, CinePiano will be your most versatile piano library.

CineHarps is a collection of deeply sampled orchestral harps that's easy to use and is loaded with techniques and features that will make this a classic in any composer’s template. Recorded with wide variety of perspectives at the MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, CineHarps will fit nicely into any mix.

Here we present a focused, tidy collection of intimately-recorded, overdub ready, pitched happiness. A sizable 10GB (at compressed NI NCW) collection of pitched bells, dulcimers and keyboards specifically designed to construct tonal groove elements.

Keyboard In Blue is a genuine electro-mechanical piano built from scratch. Recorded at Hollywood Scoring Studios through a vintage tube amplifier-cabinet, it has a new take on that well-known classic sound. It's a great keyboard amplified into a great room - it's real and it's alive!
