Back in the days of the mid-80s "garage revival" scene that revolved around the Cavern Club,there was no doubt that the Tell-Tale Hearts led the pack of "paisley underground" bands that were popping up everywhere.

Two Timer was formed at the end of 2008. The band plays electric blues, draws on the roots of the style, and keeps the traditional sound which was typical of the ‘60s and the ‘70s. They describe their music as “Grunge blues on steroids.” Our concert repertoire is based on our own work and several covers which have served as inspiration for us to further develop our style and create our original songs ever since TT was formed. The band recorded their first original demo EP “Here it comes” in April 2011. The debut LP of the band had its premiere on the June 7th, 2014.

The second in Crossfire's series of Jimmy Carl Black career retrospectives, covering recordings from 1972 to 2002. American drummer and vocalist. Best known for his work with Frank Zappa and original drummer in the first line-up of 'The Mothers', with his introductory line "Hi, boys and girls - I’m Jimmy Carl Black, and I’m the Indian of the group”. Also referred to by Don Van Vliet as "Indian Ink" during their musical association. Black co-founded several groups and featured on many recordings after departing Zappa's band - with whom he made the first 8 albums.

The legendary singer-songwriter responsible for penning two of Eric Clapton's biggest hits, "Cocaine" and "After Midnight," is showcased on this nice Australian compilation of 23 of his most beloved ditties. The aforementioned song are included, as are "Magnolia," "Cherry," and "Don't Cry Sister," and many more.

One of the most notorious Australian pub rock bands, Cosmic Psychos play beer-fueled, garage-accented, heavy-hitting punk rock with no frills and no pretensions. Officially beginning their journey together in 1985, the Psychos gained a reputation for not caring about money so much as the free beer, laughs, and occasional overseas traveling involved with being in a rock band. Despite their lack of careerism, over the course of a career that's spanned four decades, the group released over a dozen albums, sang with Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, befriended Mudhoney, and supplied beer to the then-underage Silverchair at Australia's Big Day Out festival.

Thomas Alan "Tom" Waits (born December 7, 1949) is an American singer-songwriter, composer and actor. Waits has a distinctive voice, described by critic Daniel Durchholz as sounding "like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car."With this trademark growl, his incorporation of pre-rock music styles such as blues, jazz, and vaudeville, and experimental tendencies verging on industrial music, Waits has built up a distinctive musical persona. He has worked as a composer for movies and musical plays and as a supporting actor in films, including Down By Law and Bram Stoker's Dracula. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his soundtrack work on One from the Heart.
