Jefferson Carvalho a consacré environs dix ans de sa carrière dans la rénovation de bâtiment pour le compte de clients privés en tant qu'entrepreneur. Patron dans une entreprise générale de rénovation, son entreprise tenait en son sein neuf employés spécialistes chacun dans son domaine. Ces livres ont d'abord été écrits dans un but pédagogique.
