Crezy Slam

Complete Recordings 1938-1942 is a 1992 3CD collection of the works of Bulee Gaillard and Leroy Stewart. Bulee became better known under his nickname Slim while Leroy was known under the moniker of Slam and together, they were Slim & Slam. These early recordings were compiled by the Affinity label.

A treasure trove of rare recordings and live performances from the magnificent swan song project from former Thin Lizzy vocalist Phil Lynott! Lynott formed Grand Slam in 1984 with Magnum keyboardist Mark Stanway and although they never issued an official studio album, they played numerous shows around Europe and cut a series of demos before Lynott's passing in 1986! Check out the original versions of "Sisters Of Mercy," "Nineteen," and "Military Man" PLUS incredible new mixes and superb live performances of tracks from throughout Lynott's stellar career! Each disc comes packaged in it's own wallet with rare band photos and the box features a 20-page full-color booklet filled with liner notes from music historian Dave Thompson.

Grand Slam’s album Hit the Ground has been given a makeover and will be re-released as Hit the Ground – Revised on June 7th via Silver Lining Music. The re-issue has been remastered and features new Artwork. Grand Slam was formed in 1984 by Phil Lynott and guitarist Laurence Archer before being forced to break up in 1986. Originally released in 2019, Hit The Ground signalled the Archer (guitar), Mike Dyer (vocals), Benjy Reid (drums) and Rocky Newton (bass) Grand Slam incarnation and is an unequivocal part of the band’s re-energising story. With stylistic salutes and tips to the legendary Lynott melding with the energy and vocal performance of Dyer and Archer’s fiery fretboard forays in cuts such as the crunchy “Hit The Ground” and the thrusting “Crazy”, Grand Slam stride confidently back into the conscience of classic rock devotees who didn’t know what they were missing. Today, NPG Records and Paisley Park Enterprises, in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Records, have released Live At Glam Slam, a previously unreleased live recording in immersive Dolby ATMOS and Sony 360 Reality Audio that documents a historic performance at Prince’s Minneapolis nightclub Glam Slam from January 11th, 1992.
