Tom DeFalco does a great job again (as he did with ); this book may be the best Hulk encyclopedia out there. Precise, accurate, giving proper credit to all Hulk artists, major or not, with tons of great images, easy-and-fun-to-read. In other words, accessible for all ages. The format starts with basic information on Bruce Banner, The Hulk, Hulk's powers, Betty Banner, and a few other main characters throughout Hulk's history. Then it is broken down into decades starting with the 1960's and going up through the 2000's. Each decade details major events, allies, and of course enemies of the Hulk. The art is taken mostly from the comics and there are samples of pages added featuring the spotlighted character. The book itself is a true homage to the incredible Hulk, and an invaluable reference tool.

Tales from the Leather Nun is a North American comics album published in 1973. It's an anthology of bizarre, violent and perverted stories about nuns by Dave Sheridan, Robert Crumb, Spain Rodriguez and Pat Ryan. – Wikipedia
The quote from Wikipedia above merely gives one a whiff, so to speak, of this, another real underground black-and white comic book from the hip and cool 70's. The quartet of comic book creators mentioned above have since become cult legends and their work, as with most other underground comics published during that era, are light years ahead of their time--outrageous, irreverent and at unexpected moments, uproariously funny. Nearly 37 years before American comedian Bill Maher would take consistent stabs at organized religion, this comic exposes incongruous ironies and dualities about the target of its satire in ways that even Maher cannot, would never, dare to tread. Intended for Mature Readers only.
