Rising from the rubble of Planet Battagon’s cosmic collision of shimmering improvisation and bass-weight electronics, producer, multi/instrumentalist and veteran drummer, Nathan “Tugg” Curran (Basement Jaxx, Kano, Bryan Ferry) returns with London-based ensemble, Edrix Puzzle’s latest celestial disturbance, ‘Coming Of The Moon Dogs’, forthcoming on On the Corner, this October 2022.

After 15 years of waiting: Audio portraits of Oslo's tragic-heroes by Norway's least Nordic piano trio.The idea for the album came to Aarum after reading "Oslo originals" - a book about the fascinating residents from the Norwegian capital's history. Each track on the album, he decided, would paint a portrait of one of these personalities. Take "El Jucan", a tribute to Einar Olsen, who walked the streets as a fakir, swallowed swords, flames and glass and lay on a bed of nails. In an inspiring twist of serendipity, the recording studio happened to be in the immediate vicinity of a mental hospital.

Townsend: "So what is The Puzzle?.. well, its not technically my new record, it's more a collaborative, multimedia art project that acts as a stopgap between Empath and the next record, Lightwork (due out in March of next year on Inside Out Records). The Puzzle includes two 'soundtracks' of sorts (the highly orchestrated 'Puzzle' and the very chill 'Snuggles') along with a film, graphic novel, novel, and a huge amount of multimedia. It includes many artists (upwards of 50) that participated via Zoom during the pandemic and the experience gave me a chance to purge and be completely creatively free."
