is a six-issue miniseries published by Aspen Comics. Series writer David Wohl features his take on the concept of actual real life Executive Assistants in China, which series co-creator Brad Foxhoven heard about and then uncovered a series of articles that had been written on the subject. The articles mostly revolved around these schools that would bring in girls when they were really young and would train them in the arts of everything ranging from fighting to the etiquette of properly setting a table. After graduation, these girls, now women, would be hired by businessmen to be their personal assistants/bodyguards. Wohl expanded the idea further with the executive assistant having ninja skills... you get the idea. Further miniseries involving other characters of the storyline are planned for future release. All high-quality Minutemen scans.

is a five-issue comic book limited series from Marvel Comics written by David Lapham and illustrated by Tony Harris, which premiered on January 9, 2008. Starring Marvel's flagship character, it takes place in between two single panels found in , Spider-Man's historic first appearance. By focusing on a time period usually brushed aside in many retellings of the classic origin, writer David Lapham and artist Tony Harris are able to take what is basically a page's worth of story and turn it into a funny and insightful examination of Spider-Man's formative days, focusing on the period between the accident that gave Peter Parker superhuman powers and the murder of his Uncle Ben. It was published under Marvel's Marvel Knights imprint in order to avoid any links to current continuity. One of those rare occasions when an idea that would seem to be quite long shot somehow comes together and works beautifully, no doubt because of Lapham and Harris.

After the multi-issue crossover event, Marvel Comics' entire Ultimate imprint has been relaunched under the "Ultimate Comics" brand, reflecting the impact of said event on the lives of everyone, most especially our one and only webhead, as mentioned in my (posted in Avaxhome by yours truly). is this brand's very first title to be released. From its second issue the brand reverted to the original title (so can we now refer to it as "Volume 2?"). It's still "The New World According to Peter Parker" (read that, Day-to-Day in the life of...). One thing, though: is it just me or has anyone noticed that Marvel's solicitations have been getting more and more sloppy ever since Disney bought it?
