The press release manages to write several paragraphs about Roger Eno without mentioning his brother. We will though. It's our Brian's brother. But really he should be seen in his own right as a composer of note and here collaborates with producer Youth (Killing Joke, Embrace etc). The pairing of Roger’s melancholic piano lines and Youth’s cinematic production gives the album a deeply moving quality. Wistful piano melodies twist and turn through vast, yet sparse, soundscapes, dipping through a myriad of influences. Orchestral swells rise throughout the mysterious track, Velvet Minute, whilst Salty Tears brings out a soft and sombre side to jazz, and closer Forgotten Song showcases an inspired take on merging Roger’s minimalist piano with Youth’s organic and synthetic sound design…
When the Chicago winter finally breaks this year, The Steepwater Band will release their brand new album “Turn of the Wheel” on April 24, 2020, via the band’s own imprint, Diamond Day Records. The eleven-song set was recorded last year on the shores of Lake Michigan at the new Vigo Street Studios in Miller Beach, Indiana, marking the band’s return to work with producer/engineer Jim Winters (brother of TSB drummer Joe Winters), who recorded their fan-favorite 2006 release “Revelation Sunday.” For TSB, it’s their seventh full-length studio record and first recorded work since 2016’s “Shake Your Faith.” This also marks the first album to feature new bassist, Joe Bishop, rounding out the sound along with veteran guitarist Eric Saylors, and co-founding members Jeff Massey on lead vocals/guitars, and Joe Winters on drums.

Reissue of this live archive release from the Folk music legend. In 2001, The Woody Guthrie Archives received two spools of wire recordings from a live Woody Guthrie performance held in Newark, New Jersey in 1949. With the help of many talented recording engineers, the Woody Guthrie Foundation transferred this rare live performance from a delicate wire recording to digital audio, and, with state-of-the-art technology, restored it to near-perfection.
