„Diana Ross would probably be offended by anyone who called her 1980 smash Diana a comeback, but let's face it – after the flop of The Wiz, and the way that the disco revolution steamrollered so many of her Motown compatriots' careers, that's exactly what it was.

The early 1970s were a pivotal time for Diana Ross. In 1973 alone – between touring and performing for SRO crowds in Vegas, she managed to record enough material for a number of different projects. Last Time I Saw Him (1973) was just one of several Ross releases that year as she worked on the still unissued To the Baby album, which was filled with songs for her daughters.

Love Songs is a 1987 compilation album between Michael Jackson and Diana Ross. All of the songs were previously released, as Michael Jackson had long moved to Epic Records and Diana Ross was signed to RCA so this was a way to cash in on Motown's own catalog and the success of what MJ and Diana were doing elsewhere.

"Diana Ross & The Supremes Sing and Perform "Funny Girl"" is the 13th studio album released by Diana Ross & the Supremes on the Motown label, released in 1968. Berry Gordy had Diana Ross & the Supremes cover the songs from Barbra Streisand's Broadway musical Funny Girl original cast LP to tie-in with the September release of the feature-film version of the musical, also starring Streisand. The LP was not a success, and, with a Billboard 200 peak of 150, ranks as the lowest-charting of the Diana Ross-led Supremes albums. It was, however, praised by the composer, Jules Styne as one of the finest renditions of his score after the Broadway cast and movie soundtrack albums. Despite the commercial failure, fans celebrated the release, and the group performed a medley on the Ed Sullivan Show . Diana continued to perform "Don't Rain on My Parade" and "My Man" (equally associated with Fanny Brice), at her solo concerts throughout the 1970s.

With her brilliant coloratura, lyricism and dramatic power, the soprano rises triumphantly to the vocal and expressive challenges of arias from 10 of his operas, singing in French, Italian and German. Two of the arias receive their world premiere recording with this album.
