Die amerikanische Bildhauerin Jess (Katee Sackhoff) kehrt nach langen Jahren wieder nach Großbritannien zurück, um wieder Anschluss an ihre Tochter Chloe (Lucy Boynton) zu finden, die sie vor vielen Jahren wegen eines Drogenentzuges bei einer Pflegefamilie unterbringen musste.
