As a writer tries to finish his newest script, it becomes a story about the regrets that he has had in his life, about past wrong decisions, about his troubled relationship with his wife. Very quickly his imagined past slowly becomes as rich and real as his real past and the two become blurred over time creating a past that is far different from reality.

The first track of this opus immediately plunges us into Laurent Coulondre's inner self, the visible one: an overflowing energy, a rich and percussive piano playing… The less visible one settles in as soon as the second track, giving way to an ultra-sensitive, more intimate universe. When these two personality traits, which sometimes seem to be in opposition, and his irreproachable piano playing are combined with intelligence and refinement, we obtain a moving, intense and profound solo album, like a musical portrait, a snapshot of a day in his 33rd year.
