Dyonisos is a one-man virtual ensemble featuring American musician Dan Cowan. His style is an arty space-rock, abundant in extended guitar and synthesizers parts, sometimes evoking Pink Floyd and Camel, sometimes Eloy or Alan Parsons Project, without even mentioning Ozric Tentacles and Tangerine Dream, though the Gilmour-esque influence is unquestionably dominant in his music.

Louis Philippe may still be best known as a purveyor of creamy pop confections for Mike Alway's wonderfully eccentric él label, yet his work continued to deepen and develop long after él bit the dust in 1989. He once described his music as "covering the range from pure bubblegum to symphonic sweep, with detours via jazz and soul along the way. A typical album might mix influences from vintage pop, French chanson, Ravel, bossa nova, Duke Ellington, the Shirelles, or the Beach Boys, while classical instruments and intricate backing vocals often feature in the arrangements."

Paul Lay, a young French pianist, pays tribute to the music of American soldiers from the First World War: music that introduced jazz to France. Jazz is the Africans who put the daoua in Western music and who regenerate it while it was in the process of becoming academic, notably by removing from its teaching the art of improvisation. The music which does not like being locked up then crosses the Atlantic and wakes up all jazz undressed by the grace of miserable slaves who were going to invent the greatest lesson of musical freedom.
