Quoi de plus légitime pour Eddy Mitchell, chanteur mais aussi acteur, connu également comme Monsieur Dernière Séance, que de rendre hommage au cinéma ?
C'est un studio de Los Angeles, ville mythique du cinéma américain, qu'Eddy Mitchell a choisi pour enregistrer son nouvel album baptisé "Grand écran" dans lequel Monsieur Eddy reprend et réadapte seize grands titres du cinéma.
Parfois crooner, parfois rocker, Eddy Mitchell s'est entouré pour la production de Jay Newland (Norah Jones, Ayo…) et de son compère de toujours Pierre Papadiamandis. Il a même croisé la route du phénomène Melody Gardot pour un duo sur Over The Rainbow.

Fin 2014, Eddy Mitchell était sur scène aux côtés de ses vieux complices Jacques Dutronc et Johnny Hallyday pour la tournée Vieilles canailles. Indubitablement, l’effet sur « Schmoll » fut des plus revigorants. Lui qui avait pourtant annoncé sa retraite scénique en 2011, aborde désormais 2016 avec la perspective d’une nouvelle série de concerts parisiens en solo et surtout ce nouvel opus, son 36ème, intitulé Big Band, qui a la lourde charge de succéder au réussi Héros, paru en 2013.

Eddy Arnold moved hillbilly music to the city, creating a sleek sound that relied on his smooth voice and occasionally lush orchestrations. In the process, he became the most popular country performer of the 20th century, spending more weeks at the top of the charts than any other artist. Arnold not only had 28 number one singles, he had more charting singles than any other artist. More than any other country performer of the postwar era, he was responsible for bringing the music to the masses, to people who wouldn't normally listen to country music. Arnold was initially influenced by cowboy singers like Gene Autry, but as his career progressed, he shaped his phrasing in the style of Pete Cassell.

This book covers the topic of eddy current nondestructive evaluation, the most commonly practiced method of electromagnetic nondestructive evaluation (NDE). It emphasizes a clear presentation of the concepts, laws and relationships of electricity and magnetism upon which eddy current inspection methods are founded. The chapters include material on signals obtained using many common eddy current probe types in various testing environments. Introductory mathematical and physical concepts in electromagnetism are introduced in sufficient detail and summarized in the Appendices for easy reference.

A little more than a year ago Elefant released a very special album from a new project called THE LAST DETAIL, a super group, formed by FUGU and A GIRL CALLED EDDY. Or in other words, Mehdi Zannad and Erin Moran. Just over a year later, here they are releasing an album that many people didn't ever think would ever come, the second A GIRL CALLED EDDY album. While her debut came out in 2004 to much critical acclaim and was produced by Richard Hawley, it has been a while to say the least.
