Warner Classics is marking the 150th anniversary of his death with the release of the first-ever complete Berlioz edition. Looking to repeat the success of Warner Classics’ complete Debussy edition, released in 2017, the set becomes available in physical and digital formats on 1 February 2019.

At the centre of the action is Mitridate himself – the historical Mithridatus, King of Pontus, a ruler of Persian-Greek ancestry who was a formidable opponent of the Roman empire.

He Got Out His Big Ten Inch: A Cornucopia of Risque R&B, Rude Blues and Double-Entendre Doo-Wop is a 3CD box set released by Indigo/Sanctuary in 2004. These songs were dirty long before the term rock'n'roll was originated for a music genre, with various songs about rock hard penises and moist vaginas, all spoken in metaphor. Some of these songs were made famous through other means, used in motion pictures or including Aerosmith's 1975 cover of "Big Ten Inch Record".

The Sound Of Funk Volume Ten is a 1996 compilation released by Goldmine in conjunction with Soul Supply. All of the songs are sourced from vinyl records and its legality remains unknown but it was one way to find rare sides of soul that would be normally impossible to locate without compilations like this.
